An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum not exceeding One laundred and Forty-one thousand Dollars to defray the Charges of the Year 1869.

WHEREAS it has become necessary to make further Provi-

sion for the Public Service of the Colony for the Year 1869, in addition to the Charge upon the Revenue for the Service of the said Year already provided for in the Estimates submitted to the Legislative Council: Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
